Mittelstadt Funeral Home announces Holiday Remembrance Program
On Sunday, Dec. 1, at 4 p.m., Mittelstadt Funeral Home, Lake Mills, will host its first annual Holiday Remembrance Program for all those who have lost a loved one this year.
The holidays can be a particularly difficult time to cope with the loss of a loved one. It is Mittelstadt Funeral Home’s hope that its Holiday Remembrance Program will provide a comforting forum in which families can come together to express their grief and to find peace during this challenging season.
The program will include special music by Linda Saxton and students from the music department at LMCS, memorial readings, a short message by Pastor Bill Peters of One In Christ Lutheran Parish, and a lighting of candles in remembrance of those who have passed on.
Families in attendance at the Holiday Remembrance Program will also be presented with a complimentary glass snowflake ornament personalized with the name and life dates of their loved ones. The ornament can be hung on a Christmas tree or displayed elsewhere in the home in commemoration of the loved one for years to come.
The program is open to all members of the community who have lost loved ones this year; not just those who have been served by Mittelstadt Funeral Home.
For more information, or to RSVP and reserve a personalized ornament, please contact Isaiah, Bart, or Amy at 641-592-0221 or mittfh@wctatel.net.
