Gobble Wobble is a hit

Over 100 (117) people took part in the initial Gobble Wobble fun 5K held Thanksgiving morning in Lake Mills. Organizers had been hoping for 60-70, and were thrilled with the large turnout and the opportuntiy to raise over $1,100 to donate to the Lake Mills Park and Recreation Department.
Everyone had the opportunity to post with the inflatable turkey or play a game or two of turkey bowling prior to and after the completion of the run.
Organizers say, look for the event to become an annual tradition in Lake Mills to kick off the holiday season, with various causes benefiting from the money raised.
The top 15 and winners of each age group took home medals to commemorate their finish. Those individuals are as follows:
