Jeffrey Scott Mosby
Jeffrey Scott Mosby, 60, passed away peacefully from cancer at his home in Lake Mills, Monday, July 29, 2024. A public gravesite memorial will be held Saturday, Aug. 10, at 10 a.m., at Salem Memorial Cemetery, rural Lake Mills, officiated by Kermit Singlestad.
Jeff was born May 27, 1964 at Naeve Hospital in Albert Lea, Minn., to Kenneth Mosby and Rita Anderson. He was baptized and confirmed at Salem Lutheran Church, Lake Mills. He attended elementary school in Albert Lea and then attended Lake Mills Community School, when the family relocated to Lake Mills.
At a young age, Jeff was fascinated with taking things apart and fortunately putting them back together. As he got older, he enjoyed working with Rod Stene, doing mechanical work on cars. Jeff was employed at Universal Circuits, Lake Mills, for 14 years. Following that employment, he worked for many individuals, using his skills to complete handy-man jobs.
Through the years, Jeff enjoyed watching his favorite teams compete—the Minnesota Vikings and the Iowa Hawkeyes. He also enjoyed shooting pool with his buddies in the local pool league.
Surviving family members include his sons: Nicholas (Kjerstin), Alexander, and Daniel; his grandchildren: Charlotte, Ellianna, and Korbyn; his mom, Rita; siblings: Joan (Mark) Krull, Angie (Bob) Rognes, Wade (Sam) Anderson; and many cousins, nieces and nephews, including a very special niece and great-nephew, Rochelle and Levi Rognes.
Jeff was preceded in death by his dad, Kenneth Mosby; his grandparents. Rudy and Jeneva Bergo, and Alice “More Grandma” Mosby; as well as special aunts and uncles: Don and Ila Grothe, and Jerry and Janet Bergo.
