Last Monday, Nov. 1, LMHS senior golfer, Bennett Berger, signed his letter of intent to play golf at Des Moines Area Community College.
The LMHS cross country team finished their season on a strong note at the 1A State Qualifier hosted at Newman Catholic last Thursday, Oct. 24.
Beau Thompson, 5, bagged his first deer (a spike buck) Saturday, Oct. 2,  in Worth County. Beau attends Kindergarten at LMCS and is pictured with his dad, Jake Thompson, who is a volunteer firefighter and Lake Mills police officer.
On Tuesday, Oct. 5, the Mohawk Girls Swim Team hosted the Fort Dodge Dodgers. The Mohawks outscored the Dodgers, 64-34. Lake Mills’ Kate Edgerton swam the 50 free individual, finishing second with a person best time of 26.86.
